Career Management

No matter where you are in your career development, or what your career plans are, there's something here for you. In the Office of Student Services, we'll give you the tools you need to explore careers and develop your summer or permanent job-search strategy. The programs and services we offer are tailored to meet the needs of SHA BS, Baker Program in Real Estate, and MMH students.

In addition to the career management resources available to you in SHA, Cornell Career Services, located in 103 Barnes Hall, provides services to all Cornell University students.

Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and subscribe to the Hotelie Career Connection blog for up-to-the-minute news on SHA events and access to career-related articles, blogs, job-search resources, and more.

Learn about LinkedIn, a professional resource used for networking, job and internship searches, and researching companies. We offer tips and links to guides on how to use this professional networking site and how to create an account.

Please note that we are transitioning to a new vendor for our job and internship database (formerly known as CCNet). Beginning July 1, students who are actively pursuing career opportunities may contact the Career Management team at to obtain a PDF of postings seeking Hotelies, which were available in CCNet in early June. New postings will not be available until the new system is live in mid-July. Students needing guidance on how to effectively network and utilize other job search resources should schedule an appointment with an advisor by calling 607.255.6376. All students will be emailed by Central Career Services when the new database is available.
