Congratulations on your admission to the Hotel School! We look forward to your arrival on campus in August. 

This page will provide you with links to Cornell web sites for information about your enrollment and university orientation. You will also need to familiarize yourself with the Hotel School Orientation Schedule.

Preparing for Arrival at Cornell

  • Familiarize yourself with the information available at the Cornell New Students site. There are many useful links on the New Students pages, so be sure to read this information. You can also track your matriculation status.

  • Take a look a the Cornell Orientation site. You'll find information about the Orientation schedules, family events, the reading project, and some tips about making the most of your orientation at Cornell.

  • Complete the Cornell Bound Forms.

  • Check out the To-Do List for new undergraduate students. This list will walk you through all the steps you need to take.

  • Sign up for your Swim Test.

  • Activate your NetID.  New students receive their NetID and activation code beginning in early April. During the activation process, you will be introduced to policies governing the use of Cornell’s computing resources. Complete Cornell's Travelers of the Electronic Highway. This online orientation will introduce you to Cornell's computing systems and policies.

  • Review the Hotel School's computer-system recommendations.
