Orientation
Welcome! We are excited that you are joining us at the School of Hotel Administration. One of the most important steps on this journey is your first one—orientation.
Undergraduate Orientation Program (Fall)
Cornell University and the School of Hotel Administration have several days of activities planned to acquaint undergraduates with academics, Cornell faculty, student life, and their new Hotel School colleagues - all the other first-year and transfer students entering Cornell in the fall semester.
January Transfer Student Orienation Program
Internal and external transfer students will become familiar with the Hotel School and their new colleagues during a two-day orientation program that includes introductions to faculty, curriculum, student services, career management, and the vast resources of the Hotel School. There will also be a fun Team Cuisine workshop, and receptions with the Deans and current students.
MMH Orientation Program
MMH students will have very full days that include the Cayuga Nature Center ropes course teambuilding challenge, the Simply Red Lakeside Bistro at Sheldrake Point Winery for lunch, tours, and tastings, and résumé writing, networking, and communication workshops. Our goal is to get you acquainted with each other, Cornell, and the fast pace of the MMH program.
