On-Campus Recruiting / CornellTRAK

Each semester, companies from many hospitality industry segments send representatives to the Hotel School to recruit undergraduate and graduate students for permanent and summer employment opportunities.

Financial service institutions, retailers, non-profit organizations, and other employers who are seeking graduates across a wider range of majors and degrees generally schedule their on-campus visits through Cornell Career Services (CCS).

You can gain access to Hotel School-specific companies as well as those recruiting through CCS, by registering for our on-line system, CornellTRAK and using the On-Campus Recruiting (InterviewTRAK) link.

CornellTRAK is a web-based system used for posting jobs, student resumes, career interest profiles and alumni mentor information specifically for Cornellians.  InterviewTRAK provides 24-hour on-line résumé submission, interview selection notification, and on-line interview sign-ups.

Students become eligible for on-campus recruiting when they have met certain requirements, including completing the Online Tutorial or attending an On-Campus Recruiting Orientation. When you choose to use the On-Campus Recruiting service, you also agree to abide by our On-Campus Recruiting Policy.

Although you should not rely on On-Campus Recruiting as the only method to get a job, it is a good opportunity to interview with companies that have job opportunities you're interested in.  We encourage you to begin your company research early. Being knowledgeable about companies before interview sign-ups will help ensure that you will be interviewing with only those companies you are truly interested in.

Many companies attend our annual Career Day, hold Company Presentations or Atrium Company Showcases during their on-campus recruiting visit.
