Information for Visitors
Finding Us on Campus
The Nestlé Library is on the ground floor of Statler Hall on the Cornell campus, on the northeast corner of Campus Road and East Avenue, at G80 Statler Hall. Consult Cornell visitor guide and the library map.
Use of Materials Within the Library
Any person may visit us and use, onsite and free of charge, materials that are needed for scholarly research purposes but are unavailable in his or her college or public library.
Borrowing Library Materials
Individuals may qualify for borrowing privileges. Applications for Library Cards are available in room 101, Access Services Division in Olin Library. Applications will be processed and cards issued generally within 24 hours, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Students enrolled at other institutions and all other visitors should discuss borrowing from Cornell with interlibrary loan staff at their home institutions. Computers
Networked computers and wireless access are available in the library.
Photocopy Machines
Photocopy machines are available.
Printing
There is no public printing - users should bring a USB flash memory drive to save their documents.
Reference and Research Services
Onsite Assistance
Assistance in locating and using information resources will be available. Please visit the Reference Desk (M-F 10am-5pm). For in-depth research requests, please contact Hostline (see below).
Offsite and In-Depth Research Assistance—Hostline Information Services
The Nestlé Library also offers a fee-based information and document delivery service called Hostline. It serves industry practitioners, alumni, and outside Cornell researchers. Hostline researchers can provide you with a list of citations from which you may choose to order copies of articles, theses, or book excerpts. Please contact the Hostline Operations Manager, at hostline@cornell.edu or 254.4503 (M-F 9am-4pm) for a free estimate.
