ABI/Inform ProQuest Direct Web: 
Part of the ProQuest Direct system, ABI/Inform contains full text of articles and reports appearing in trade publications, academic journals, magazines, and newspapers published worldwide. ABI/Inform covers the areas of accounting, banking, communications, computers, economics, engineering management, finance, health care, human resources, insurance, international trends, law, management, marketing, public administration, real estate, taxation, and transportation.
Business Source Premier: 
Provides full-text for nearly 2,470 journals covering business, management, economics, finance, banking, and accounting. It also includes industry and country reports and SWOT analyses along with full text coverage of the Harvard Business Review.
Factiva: 
Provides access to global news and business information, including local newspapers, same-day newswires, company reports, and media programs. Includes full-text coverage of the Wall Street Journal.
Hospitality & Tourism Complete: 
Bibliographic database providing access to scholarly research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism. It was created from the records of Articles in Hospitality and Tourism (Oxford Brooks University and University of Surrey); Hospitality Database (Cornell University); and Lodging, Restaurant & Tourism Index (Purdue University). Current content is being added by EBSCO Publishing.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe: 
Lexis-Nexis' Academic Universe provides access to full-text resources on topics including current and general news; business and financial information; newspapers; company directories; government and politics; medical and health topics; accounting, auditing, and tax; federal and state laws; legal cases; and regulations. Resources include TV and radio news transcripts.
Nestlé Library Theses Database: 
A collection of PhD, Master of Science (MS), and Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) theses written by graduate students in the School of Hotel Administration. Copies may be purchased through Hostline for a fee of $45 plus the cost of shipping.
Financial Information Resources
Bloomberg: 
(available in the Nestlé Library reference area) is a financial professional's workstation providing quotes and technical analysis on U.S. and international securities. The service also provides company, industry, and market news, as well as U.S. and international economic indicators. Bloomberg provides both current and historical data. Stock quotes are delayed. Hoover's Online: 
Provides company profiles (searchable by company name, industry, ticker symbol, executive names, etc.) and business news. Each profile is linked to competitors' web sites.
Innovest iRatings Analytics Portal: 
An internationally recognized investment research and advisory firm specializing in analyzing companies' performance on intangible value factors such as environmental, social, and strategic governance management.
Investext Plus: 
This site is designed for business students, faculty, and research staff members for class work, case research, and career development. It offers investment research and industry analysis. It contains research from investment banks as well as fundamental financial information from Moody's Investors Service.
Market Insight: 
Industry coverage includes the casino and gaming; hotel, resort and cruise line; real estate; and restaurant industries. Market Insight delivers Standard & Poor's Stock Reports, corporate action information, real time pricing data, business descriptions, private company data, executive compensation data, EDGAR, recent news stories, Standard & Poor's Industry Surveys, DRI-WEFA Country Overviews, COMPUSTAT Financials for both U.S. and global companies. Includes links among industry peers for fast comparisons. Users can screen for companies that meet key financial and market criteria.
Mergentonline: 
Provides financial information on companies listed on the NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq exchanges, international companies, domestic and international annual reports, real-time access to SEC (EDGAR) filings dating back to 1993, "as-reported" financial statements providing review of balance sheets, cash flow, and income statements. Users may screen companies, select documents, view reports, and save data to spread sheets.
SNL Interactive (SNLi): 
Provides web access to SNL's financial data, news, and analytics for real estate investment trusts (REITs). Through the news tab, users can access SNL Real Estate Securities Daily and SNL Real Estate Securities Weekly. See the registration guide for instructions on how to register.
Thomson ONE Banker: 
Provides access to financial data on public companies, as well as merger and acquisition information and market data. Users can search and screen across databases to identify companies that meet their specific investment criteria as well as conduct peer analysis.
Business & Company Resource Center: 
Includes company histories, industry ratings, product brands, company performance ratings, investment reports and ratings, industry statistics, financial overviews, financial ratios, and directory listings for over 300,000 companies.
CareerSearch: 
CareerSearch is a powerful employment research tool, available online or on CD, with a database of almost a million employers from every major sector of the business and academic worlds.
EIU.com: 
A virtual library offering all of the EIU’s publications. Includes Country Report, Country Profile, CountryData, CityData, and Market Indicators and Forecasts.
Global Market Information Database: 
Describes consumer market sizes, international marketing data and forecasts, reports on consumer lifestyles, companies and brands, business information sources, and major market profiles.
Hotel Outlook: 
Produced by Torto Wheaton Research, Hotel Outlook provides forecasts and analysis for full vs. limited service hotel segments across 50 U.S. metros with a national overview and submarket detail for more than 20 of the largest markets. Hotel Outlook features RevPar; ADR; occupancy; demand and supply for all markets and submarkets; annual and quarterly data covering 15 years of history; and a six year forecast.
Mintel Marketing Intelligence: 
Mintel produces in-depth market research reports, covering products, markets and demographics. Divided between European, U.K.-specific and U.S. markets, Mintel publications analyze market sizes and trends, market segmentation, along with consumer attitudes and purchasing habits. Over 600 new reports are added each year.
Nestlé Library Restaurant Menus Database: An index of classical and contemporary food and beverage menus that can be searched by cuisine; restaurant typology; meal segment; location; and time period. This database also include the holdings of the Herndon/Vehling and Tschirky Menu collections.
