The Nestle Library features areas reserved for quiet study, reference books, current periodicals, videos, and book stacks.

Computers and Other Equipment

Desktop Computers - Networked computers are available for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. Programs on these computers include Bear Access, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. Printing is available through Net-Print at a cost of $.10 per page.

Laptop Computers - The library has thirty laptops for loan at the circulation desk. They are available to anyone with a valid Cornell ID.

The Binenkorb Computer Center, located on the third floor of Statler Hall, provides over 100 networked computers for Hotel School students during times when the center's labs are not scheduled for classroom use.

Photocopy machines - Two self-service public-use photocopy machines are located in the library.

Photocopy Prices: With a vendcard 10¢ per page for 8-1/2 x 11 paper; 20¢ per page for 11 x 17 paper. With coins 15¢ per page for 8-1/2 x 11 paper; 30¢ per page for 11 x 17 paper.

Vendacards, which can be used in all Cornell University Libraries, may be purchased from a dispenser located on the wall at the entrance to the stacks. Vendacards cost 55¢, but a $1 bill is required for the initial purchase; 45¢ will automatically be credited to your card with this purchase. The cards may be re-credited indefinitely with additional money.

Video cassette players (VCRs) - Available for in-library use with headphones that can be checked out at the circulation desk. Videos are listed in the library catalog. Videos are available for short-term loan.
