Professional Biography

Daniel Lebret, visiting assistant professor, received his PhD in Real Estate and Finance from Cornell University in 2008. Prior to his doctoral studies, Lebret received an MBA from ESSEC business school in France and his undergraduate in culinary arts at ESCF in Paris. His primary research focuses on asset pricing, hedging and credit risk in the real estate market, with specific interest in commercial real estate. Other topics of interest include the pricing and implementation of real options. Prior to his career in academics, Lebret held positions in several three Michelin star restaurants in France.
