Professional Biography
Jan Katz began teaching international management and marketing at Cornell's School of Hotel Administration after 21 years at Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management. In addition to her teaching, she is charged with developing international programs, both to provide students with broader and deeper international knowledge and to support the administration and faculty to build a larger international footprint. Katz has taught courses and given guest lectures in Argentina, Peru, Colombia, the Philippines, India, China, Belgium, and England. Her case development work has helped to illuminate management issues in countries as diverse as India, Bulgaria, and Brazil. As well, she has worked with executives throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe on international management, strategy, and marketing.
