Professional Biography
Laurie Hensley has been a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years and serves as a lecturer during the fall semester at the Cornell Hotel School. She began her career with Coopers in Chicago. Hensley created the course Personal Financial Management to give new graduates the tools they will need to achieve their personal financial goals. In addition to teaching, she manages a tax practice in Key West, Florida where she works extensively with businesses and individuals and the financial challenges they face. Her active work with personal financial and taxation issues gives her unique opportunities to integrate the classroom with the real-world.
