CHR 2009 Annual Report
Executive Summary:
The Center for Hospitality Research Annual Report for 2009 chronicles a year of growth and transition, as Associate Professor David Sherwyn ended his active term as center director and Professor Rohit Verma became executive director in July. Building on Sherwyn’s work to expand the CHR’s program, notably with the industry roundtable series, Verma announced several initiatives based on electronic media, including a webcast series in conjunction with partner SAS. The annual report contains descriptions and links for the CHR’s many reports, tools, and other publications, including the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly. Thanks to the support of the CHR’s senior partners, partners, and friends, the CHR continues its policy of posting research studies at no charge for the worldwide hospitality and related service industries.
