Yvette Politis, Esq.

Yvette Politis is labor and employment counsel at Reed Elsevier Inc, an international publishing company. Ms. Politis specializes in counseling employers in a variety of employment matters, including wage and hour law, state and federal anti-discrimination and leave laws, and labor and employment litigation, including discrimination claims arising under Title VII, the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and state anti-discrimination laws. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Politis earned a degree in industrial and labor relations and worked as a human resources generalist. She currently serves on the steering committees for the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. Ms. Politis earned a BS from Cornell University and a JD from Boston College Law School. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts (1999).
