Events
The Center for Hospitality Research participates in key hospitality industry events throughout the year, notably, the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), the International Hotel/Motel + Restaurant Show (IHMRS), the National Restaurant Association Show, and the National HR in Hospitality Conference and Expo ™. The center also presents four to six industry Roundtables at Cornell annually, and hosts several industry leaders in the Industry Research Leaders Guest Series.
In October 2010, the center offered its first-ever “thought leadership” conference, the Cornell Hospitality Leadership Summit, on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY. Keynote speakers joined with visiting scholars and researchers to present the latest research and information on such topics as sustainability, technology innovations, and social media, as well as revenue management.
Throughout the year, CHR and SAS offer webcasts on key industry topics, including planning for economic recovery, sustainability, and social media. You are invited to log in for the webcasts at no charge, using the link at right.
The center welcomes your participation in the Cornell Hospitality Leadership Summit, Industry Research Leaders Guest Series, and other public forums. Attendance at roundtables is open to our corporate partners and invited participants.
