Adam Weissenberg is vice chairman and U.S. leader of the Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure (THL) sector at Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. Adam specializes in serving the THL industry, where he provides business advisory services such as due diligence, operational analysis, vendor selections, and internal control analysis for various segments of the industry, including world-class hotels, restaurants, ski resorts, and food service companies.
Prior to this role, Adam served as the national managing partner of the THL sector for the Consumer Business Industry practice. He continues to serve as the lead client service partner for two of the largest hotel companies in the United States.
As one of our designated spokespeople for the THL marketplace, Adam has been widely quoted in the media with regard to industry trends, events and issues, and has appeared on Bloomberg and CNBC, as well as in The New York Times, Travel & Leisure, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. Adam is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and summits, including the New York Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, and has been invited to speak at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, where today he serves on the School's Center for Hospitality Research Advisory Board. Adam received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University where he majored in accounting and finance.
