Michele has 25 years experience at Maritz Inc., currently serving as Hospitality Sector Leader with complete Sector P& L responsibility. Sales, operations, customer services, product development influence and outside alliances fall under Michele’s leadership.
Michele has background in several industries including Financial Services, Business Services, Retail, Hospitality, Consumer Products, Energy/Utilities, Manufacturing, Transportation and Building Products. The majority of Michele’s experience has centered on understanding client business issues and forming/leading teams to design and execute sales and marketing initiatives to drive optimal business results for those clients. Maritz’ offerings include Research, Learning, Motivation, Group Travel, Customer and Channel Loyalty, Experiential Marketing and Employee Engagement disciplines. While client teams deliver on these offerings, Michele takes on an Executive Sponsor role to ensure optimal return for clients who desire integration of these disciplines at a more strategic level. Clients Michele and her teams have served include Hilton Hotels, Kimberly-Clark, Bank of America, American Express, Sprint, Hallmark, ConAgra, Pizza Hut, Coca-Cola, Georgia-Pacific, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Utilicorp, Union Pacific, TWA, Cingular, Interstate Bakeries Corp., Marriott Hotels, Avon, ADP, Coca-Cola, Johns Manville, Anheuser-Busch, Shell/Texaco, Nestle-Purina, Walgreens, Caterpillar, HON/Allsteel, UPS, Chevron, The Home Depot and many more.
Michele has served on Maritz Strategy Council consisting of the Top 20 Leaders at Maritz Inc. where policy and strategy for the organization is formed. Michele and her teams have received numerous honors and awards from Maritz and clients alike. She is particularly interested in “co-creating” with clients where both benefit from collaborative design and implementation, followed by regular Business Reviews that challenge both sides to continuously step up their game.
