About the Center
Conceived in 1992 as a means of building on the School of Hotel Administration’s 70-year history of service to the hospitality industry, the Center for Hospitality Research was reinvigorated in the 21st century as the industry’s foremost creator and distributor of timely research. In addition to creating a forum for scholars and industry professionals, the center has developed an internet-based publishing program that reaches thousands of registered users.
Mission
The mission of the Center for Hospitality Research is to enable and conduct research of significance to the hospitality industry, while offering a series of roundtables and forums to improve the connections between academia and industry.
