Financial Assistance - What scholarships are available?

The European Chapter of the Cornell Hotel Society (ECHS) offers scholarships to PDP classroom participants currently working in Europe. You can complete a scholarship application online and submit it with your PDP application and résumé. ECHS Scholarship amounts vary, depending upon available funding and the number of scholarships awarded; in the past awards have ranged from 25 to 50 percent of the total cost. You must attend a minimum of two-sessions to receive scholarship moneys. Scholarships will be awarded in early May.

Several regional organizations, such as the Caribbean Hotel Association and the International Hotel and Restaurant Association (IH&RA), offer scholarship opportunities to their members; but these are neither funded nor administered by Cornell University.

Alternatively, you may want to check with hospitality or business associations within your region to explore possible funding sources.

* Brussels courses are priced in Euros at €1745 per course. Moneys will be collected in U.S. dollars based on today's conversion rate as per International Monetary Fund. Today's exchange rate is US$1 = €.701902452. The actual amount charged to your credit card or during the process of wire transfer (if you choose to pay either of those ways) may differ slightly based on the exchange rate your bank references.
