Online Certificates

Successful completion of a series of online courses earns you a certificate from Cornell University, providing you with a powerful credential to enhance your career. Developed by the same Cornell School of Hotel Administration faculty who teach the classroom-based executive education programs, the Online Certificates employ the latest in industry research, case studies and interactive content. You may choose to earn an Online Certificate in several specialized areas, and have up to four years to complete a certificate sequence.

10 Certificates are currently available online:

  1. Master Certificate in Essentials of Hospitality Management
  2. Master Certificate in Foodservice Management
  3. Certificate in Executive Leadership: Preparing for an Uncertain Future
  4. Certificate in Financial Management for Making Business Decisions
  5. Certificate in Foodservice Management
  6. Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management
  7. Certificate in Hotel Revenue Management
  8. Certificate in Hospitality Marketing
  9. Certificate in Leading Management Teams
  10. Certificate in Strategic Hospitality Management

Please note that as several of the required courses overlap, you may only earn one of the two Master Certificates. 

An online Master Certificate is received when a participant completes a series of online courses.  This differs from a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) Degree, as a Master Degree requires an individual to attend classes full-time on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY USA.  Visit the MMH website for more information.
