Professor Michael Hostetler
Michael J. Hostetler is the Director of Leadership Studies for the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University. He is responsible for the development of all custom executive education programs for domestic and international clients and leads a new EMBA distance learning program. Mr. Hostetler holds a B.A. from Augustana College and an M.P.H. from the University of Tennessee.
Prior to joining Cornell University, he served as Assistant Dean for Executive Education at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Mr. Hostetler's areas of interests include management strategy, decision-making, leadership, high performance teams, and change management.
He has designed programs for such major corporations as Siemens, Salomon Smith Barney, Sara Lee, Johnson & Johnson, Bausch & Lomb, Exxon Mobil, Eli Lilly, Glaxo Smith Klein, Hyundai, NRG Energy, the Asian Development Bank, the Credit Union Executive Society, and United News & Media, plc. His work extends to global executive education through his membership and participation in the University Consortium for Executive Education (emeritus trustee) and the International Consortium for Executive Development Research (ICEDR)
