The General Managers Program is held at the School of Hotel Administration on the Cornell University campus. Cornell overlooks the beautiful city of Ithaca and Cayuga Lake, located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Ithaca is a small but cosmopolitan city. It is approximately 250 miles (400 km) northwest of New York City, and 60 miles (100 km) south of Syracuse, New York.

Cornell University was founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White. The campus today includes more than 260 major buildings on 745 acres.
