On-Campus Recruiting
During the fall and spring semesters, companies can interview on campus to fill full-time and summer positions.
All employers - whether recruiting our students on campus or at another location - are expected to adhere to our recruiting policies.
We manage our on-campus recruiting program using the Cornell CareerNet system—a part of the eRecruiting network. Cornell CareerNet streamlines our services to employers and students.
With Cornell CareerNet you can:
- enter job descriptions related to your campus visit
- pre-select students for your interview schedule
- send e-mail messages to students who submitted résumés
- track the status of your on-campus recruiting arrangements, including student sign-ups
- view, download, and print résumés via an on-line résumé drop
When to Recruit
The optimal time period for fall recruiting is from late September to mid-November. During the spring semester, the best recruiting dates are from February to mid-March. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for information that will be helpful as you plan your interview dates.
Arranging Your On-Campus Visit
Once you know the date you would like to come to campus:

Once a date request has been submitted, employers will receive an e-mail confirmation. Ann Marie Kaminski, Hotel School Recruiting Coordinator, will then be your primary contact.
Ways To Spotlight Your Company
We are eager to help you build visibility for your company. As you develop your recruiting strategy, we will work with you to determine the best approach to marketing your company to Hotel School students, including:
- Company Presentations
An opportunity to meet with students and share information about your company prior to the interviews, thus making the interviews more productive. - Atrium Company Showcases
Located in the Hotel School's high-traffic atrium, a showcase is an excellent way to informally market your company to Hotel School students. - Career Fairs: Career Day and Real Estate Career Day
These annual by-invitation-only events bring companies from various segments of the industry to campus to meet with students.
