Recruiting

The Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration is regarded as the premier hospitality business program in the world. Our well-earned reputation draws the brightest, most ambitious, and most capable students with a demonstrated track record of achievement and passion for the hospitality industry.

We at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Career Management Center are committed to partnering with companies and organizations to recruit a diverse pool of candidates. This includes diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, individuals with disabilities, culture, and experiences. We expect our recruiting companies and organizations to recognize the power that diversity, inclusion, and belonging bring to the environment and to understand that there is a high correlation between utilizing diverse teams and yielding strong financial performance.

Career Management offers you a variety of ways to engage with our students and alumni while building your brand on campus.

Job and Internship Postings

Recruit candidates for full-time and summer positions, internships, and externships through our two online recruiting platforms.

  • To recruit undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni, post in Handshake.
  • To recruit Nolan School alumni with five-plus years of professional experience please send the opportunity to careers@business.cornell.edu.

Practice Credit Requirement

All Nolan School students are required to complete 800 hours of practical experience through work and internship opportunities. Students do not receive academic credit for these experiences. Many of our students complete this graduation requirement through opportunities obtained with companies who recruit at Cornell. Nolan School students are required to obtain a formal verification from their employer of their practice credit experiences. Employers may contact the career management team if they have questions about the Practice Credit graduation requirement.
