With a BS in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University and a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University, DJ has worked for Holiday Inn Worldwide, Interstate Hotels, and the Marriott Corporation on his way to his present position with JHM Hotels. DJ is responsible for overall property management, profitability, and maintaining company standards of excellence for 28 hotels with a total of 4000 rooms.
He also serves on several industry boards, such as American Hotel Foundation, Carlson Hospitality Advisory board, Georgia State Hospitality Advisory council and has been honored as a distinguished professor at Michigan State University's Hospitality School. DJ was a founding member of AAHOA young hoteliers and currently serves as the President of Cornell Hotel Society of South Carolina.
