Hospitality Leadership Through Learning
MMH

What We Look For

We aim to create a class of theory-based, action-oriented leaders from a variety of backgrounds:

  • industry veterans wanting to advance their careers
  • professionals in pursuit of a career change
  • recent college graduates looking for a springboard into the hospitality field

We expect candidates to demonstrate their potential to perform well in a graduate business curriculum with a successful academic record in their bachelor's degree (or equivalent) program and a competitive score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). We are also seeking candidates with a strong commitment to a career in the hospitality industry.

While hospitality-related work experience is not necessarily required for admission, relevant work experience prior to enrolling will have a direct impact on one's initial job placement. In other words, career opportunities for students with several years of experience are quite different from those for individuals who are entering hospitality for the first time. MMH graduates are working at significantly higher levels of responsibility within a few years of completing their advanced degrees.
