Concentrations
Students may choose one of six optional concentrations:
- Education (a university-wide concentration)
- Finance, Accounting, and Real Estate
- Hospitality Facilities and Operations
- Information Science (a university-wide concentration)
- Marketing Strategy and Information Systems
- Organizational Management, Communication, and Law
To declare a concentration and have it appear on the final transcript, all courses must be taken for a letter grade (unless only offered with an S-U option), and students must achieve a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA within the concentration courses.
To declare a concentration, the student must submit an Election of Concentration Form to the Office of Student Services. The deadline for declaring a concentration is the last day of the student's penultimate semester.
Students may complete the requirements for more than one concentration, but only one officially declared concentration will appear on the final transcript.
