Michaela Wolfanger
In addition to studying
at the School of Hotel Administration, I also work at The Statler Hotel as a member of the waitstaff at Taverna Banfi. I am originally from Buffalo, New York, and after graduation I plan on exploring a career in hotel and restaurant development.
I have been recently accepted into the Statler Leadership Development Program—a program that will allow me to integrate my work experience at The Statler Hotel into my studies and help me develop the tools I need for a successful career in the hospitality industry.
Through the program I will cross-train in multiple areas to gain valuable experience that will prepare me to lead my peers. I am currently working as a member of the front-of-house team while gaining culinary experience in
the kitchen. Within a few semesters I hope to advance to a leadership position in the food and beverage division, with a focus on personalized guest service.
